Whether you are an experienced games tester, or someone looking to take their first steps within the industry – we want to hear from you. We are looking for candidates skilled in many gaming related disciplines, along with being tenacious and passionate about the products we work on. You will be one of the first people to see the game in its entirety, and will be part of a fun, dynamic and multi disciplined team. Your role will be to ensure our partners games are free from all errors, is appropriate for the market, and gives an enjoyable and totally immersive experience to the end user. Main Duties: Carry out specific checks in a consistent and thorough manner as part of a structured test plan Ensure that all problems and bugs recorded are done so in an effective manner Write up bug reports to a very high standard Communicate and flag major issues or concerns immediately to the Project Lead Other Duties Display client focused mentality Display ability to recommend solutions to all interested departments Maintain live communication with all departments and management as and when required. Maintain live communication and report to Manager on agreed regular basis (daily and weekly) Other such duties as requested by line manager. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Education A good level of education is expected. This is an entry-level position and full training will be provided, however, previous experience with QA/Testing is an advantage Good knowledge of games and applications across various platforms Essential requirements Passionate about video games, with good game play skills Knowledge and experience in a QA role preferred Knowledge of bug tracking databases such as DevTrack, Mantis, TTP, Jira etc a definite advantage Knowledge of TestRail or other test plan software a definite advantage Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Strong communicator, with tact and diplomacy Computer literacy: word processing, database handling, record keeping, good working knowledge of MS Office Suite Quality focused with a keen eye for detail Strong organisation skills and able to manage time effectively Team player, ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines Pro-active, tenacious and enthusiastic Excellent attention to detail and logical thinking Willing to undertake further training to meet the demands of the role Display a professional and engaging manner with colleagues and external resources Be a source of informed knowledge to others Physically and Medically able to test Virtual Reality titles for prolonged periods. Desirable requirements Knowledge and experience in different bug databases Be of a resourceful and creative nature Strong communicator Ability to perform the role of a good ambassador for the organisation at all time Experience: Ideally previous work experience in testing games, and localisation Ideally the candidate will have a good knowledge of video games Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
