UniTrust Protection has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced, highly motivated Security Officer to work at a prestigious site in City of London. You will be working on a 6 on 3 off basis (56 hours per week) covering Days, Nights and Weekends. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £11.25 per hour. About the Security Officer role: To work as a member of the security team for the protection of persons and property and thereby the provision of a safe and secure environment. To be first point of contact for all visitors to a high profile client site so professionalism and a smart appearance are paramount. The maintenance of good order in all Unitrust sites including the protection of everyone therein against violent acts, abuse and accident. The protection of a client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste. The protection of private property belonging to the client, their staff and visitors against loss, theft and damage. Prevent offences against the law of the land, Unitrust disciplinary codes and policies and ensure all are brought to the attention of the management. Ensure basic fire precautions are in place and means of escape are clear. Access Control, patrolling, reception duties and general security duties. Key responsibilities as the Security Officer: Delivering outstanding customer service The protection of a client’s property against loss, theft, damage (including fire and water) and waste. Ensure you have read and are familiar with all site procedures, including but not restricted to Assignment Instructions, Reception Duties, Health & Safety and any client instructions Our ideal Security Officer: Excellent client facing skills and proven experience Previous Supervisory experience (2 years minimum) A valid SIA front-line licence Self-confident and has interest in self-development Reliable, trustworthy and punctual Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure Previous corporate security experience essential Good, clear communication skills essential It is desirable that the post holder have a valid driver’s licence and have own transportation.
