We are looking for a motivated, proactive Event Administrator to join our Brisbane team. You will provide high quality support to the QLD business and Clients by facilitating effective business development opportunities through event and sponsorship opportunities. The Opportunity Our unique offering and strong growth have created the need for a talented and energised Event Administrator with the right combination of talent, energy and a commitment to excellence to join our Brisbane office. In this role, you will work with the QLD team on exciting city-shaping projects for a diverse range of clients. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver outstanding event support and coordination, achieved through exceptional personal organisation and time management. This position requires an ability to manage conflicting priorities and deadlines in a calm and professional manner to deliver exceptional outcomes for all Brisbane events. As an Event Administrator your responsibilities will include: Coordinate and manage events and functions for the Queensland Offices including the booking of venues, facilities and entertainment consistent with the Urbis brand and desired client experience; Develop and manage an events calendar, consistent with national approach Maintain and ensure event budgets are adhered to and report appropriately to stakeholders; Attend appropriate events to oversee smooth operations; Manage and monitor emails, events calendar and RSVP lists (data entry) Act as a staff and client interface (fielding and responding to calls and emails, etc.) and providing assistance to clients where appropriate; Utilise social media and other forms of media to provide publicity for events; Connect and knowledge share with peers in other offices to foster a consistent client/events experience Undertake research and analysis for upcoming opportunities and presentations; Manage own deadlines and priorities/workloads to ensure work is delivered on time; Recognise that all employees have an obligation to contribute to the creation of a safe workplace and will comply with all OHS policies and procedures, reporting any identified hazards and incidents; Contributes to the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety, and promote compliance by others; and About You To apply for this role you should have a minimum of three years experience in a similar role and/ or relevant tertiary qualifications in Events Management, Marketing or Business Administration. You will also have: Demonstrated ability to build rapport and effective working relationships with team members and clients; Demonstrated digital literacy and familiarity with social media; Capacity to work independently with minimal direction and with a high degree of self-motivation; Excellent project coordination skills, including time management. Demonstrated events co-ordination experience including the ability to manage budgets, conflicting priorities and deadlines Intermediate to advanced level of experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products To be successful in this role you must be available to attend events outside of core business hours and an ability to stay calm under pressure is a must.
