UP Fundraising is hiring an activated individual to represent Save the Children in New York and activate the public to the action. Specializing in face to face community outreach, we bring Save the Children's cause to the masses through initiating conversations with the public. Over the last 100 years Save the Children have fought to improve the lives of children through access to education, health care, and emergency aid in natural disasters, war, and other conflicts. With over 15,000 children separated from their families and over 6,000 reports of abuse, we need to act to protect children who are in harm's way. By advocating for better conditions for these kids and families, providing immediate psychological counseling upon release from detention centers, reuniting families, and increasing aid to countries of origin we can make a difference. We are currently looking to fill our entry-level position on our team supporting Save the Children in New York. By bringing our message to the streets and engaging the general public directly we build a base of funding that allows Save the Children to provide tangible resources to the border and aid to over 130 million children annually. The ideal candidate is able to speak about these issues articulately, with passion and enthusiasm. What we offer at UP Fundraising: $15/hour base pay and Added Bonus + opportunities for growth.
