The Human Resources Partner will be a personable, experienced human resources business partner that is a proactive communicator and change agent, someone who can successfully balance employee needs with business objectives to create integrated solutions. The scope of responsibilities will encompass the full range and complexity of issues and problems associated with the delivery of HR services to diverse operating units and colleges with locations on and off campus. Job Duties Duty/Responsibility Manage employee relations issues in both formal and informal situations. Investigate issues and mediate problems as an objective third party. Partner with, coach, and advise supervisors and managers on issues that pertain to employee relations, discrimination, harassment, violence in the workplace, substance abuse, ADA, etc. Job Duties Duty/Responsibility Design and deliver training programs and information sessions on a broad range of HR. topics with particular emphasis on FAIR complaint/grievance process, supervisory development and benefits/legal issues. Actively participate in various department and campus initiatives, projects, and committees. Serve as resource at meetings of campus governance groups. Job Duties Duty/Responsibility Supervise, hire, train, and evaluate and assign work to support and/or professional staff as assigned.
