Job Description The Assessment and Feedback Technologies Consultant is a strategic role. This role analyzes market potential, develops the strategy and tactical action plans to identify target accounts, and supports the sales functions in pipeline creation and progression. The role ensures regional product success by effectively bringing the outside in (market and customer feedback to relevant internal teams) and the inside out (through ensuring alignment between central and regional functions, and contributing in bringing this to customers and prospects). The Product Growth Manager is a passionate advocate for the company’s goals around assessment and feedback and the products that are developed to achieve this. This role leverages a combination of strong business acumen, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of customer workflows to build strategies that can be operationalized, sustained and executed over the long term, as well as positioning Turnitin for continued high-growth. Role and Responsibilities Act as a Subject Matter Expert. Act as a thought-leader, leveraging expertise in industry best practices, policies, procedures, and methodologies to establish process excellence and ensure transformation objectives are met. Understand Turnitin’s Operating Model and commercial objectives and engage with various functional leaders to understand their long- and short-term business strategies Drive market growth and adoption Product Management Collaboration. Work in conjunction with the Product Management in an ongoing manner to understand the product roadmap, report findings/feedback from the field opportunities, customer and prospect meetings, and share the market insights, including understanding and collaborating on the roadmap and sharing customer feedback and market observations. Marketing Management Collaboration. Work in conjunction with the Product Marketing and the Marketing Regional teams in an ongoing manner and as we develop content with Subject Matter Expertise and identify winning strategies, actions, and messaging in a replicable way, ensuring alignment with strategy and market, ensuring presence at key conferences, and developing and helping host webinars in conjunction with marketing. Define and Develop Use Cases. Define and develop sales offerings and repeatable use cases that meet the needs of Turnitin customers, drive new markets and/or expand existing market presence. Pre- and Post-Sales Optimization. Proactively support pre- and post-sales activities to accelerate project lifecycles. Collaborates with Implementation Team and Customer Success to ensure proper handoff from Sales. Drive Customer Success Outcomes. Offer collaborative efforts to increase renewal rates and reduce churn, through higher product adoption, customer satisfaction and overall health scores, and drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference-ability. Inspire and Develop Customer Success Across Company. Align with the Marketing team for existing client marketing, aligning with Product team around driving product roadmap, align with the Sales team around cross-sell, up-sell and retention, align with the Finance team around measurement and forecasting, and align with the Executive team around developing and monitoring key metrics and objectives.
