Tumu Timbers Ltd is a progressive Hawkes Bay timber processing business, locally owned and operated. Our team culture is positive and enthusiastic with an emphasis on Health and Safety, Quality and Customer Service. We are looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join our team on our day and night shifts, driving the latest small (3.5t) Crown and Kalmar forklifts. The successful applicants need to hold a Full Class 1 licence and current OSH/Forklift Certificate. Hours for this role will vary depending on the shift. Key responsibilities for the role * Ensuring the safe, efficient delivery and removal of timber for key machine centres * Loading and unloading of trucks * Quality control The ideal candidate will have * Health & safety focus * A proven history in forklift operation / operation in confined areas * 4-pronged / cascade lifting is preferred but not essential * Self-motivation and reliability * Attention to detail * Good communication skills * Wood industry experience is preferred but it is not essential In return we can offer competitive pay rates, a fantastic work culture, ongoing training and development and progression opportunities.
