Wicklow Job Type: Maternity Contract Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort are looking for a hotel Reservations Assistant who is friendly, helpful and empathetic to the core. Our luxurious hotel consists of 90 guest rooms and 3 self-catering lodges with their own unique story and style which provide the perfect setting for weddings and all sorts of special events. The Elk Bar and The Lime Tree Restaurant serve an array of delicious food in a relaxing environment which boasts panoramic views across our golf course, the Blessington Lakes and Wicklow Mountains. Located just 45 minutes from Dublin City and 25 minutes from the M50, the hotel is easily accessible. Your New Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual. The successful candidate will assist with reservations within the property. They will be very well presented and demonstrate an excellent telephone manner. High levels of customer care skills are essential. They will enjoy working as part of a team and will also have the ability to work on his or her own initiative. The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a hotel front office environment. Responsibilities Include: To ensure all bookings, reservation documentation, filing and group contracts are completed. To manage all rates on the various booking channels, yielding rates effectively. Be knowledgeable of upcoming events and manage rates accordingly. Be a sales person for the hotel by upselling and recommending the Hotel facilities and developing a good rapport with clients. Communicate and liase with all hotel departments in a timely and effective manner. Handle all guest concerns relevant to the Reservations Office to the satisfaction of all parties. The ideal candidate for this position: Must have previous experience in front office role in a hotel Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service Must be a team player with the ability to multi task Must be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industry Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Communicate fluently in English (written & oral).
