Working in a new team to develop and customise the main platform, which is built on a Python, Django, Linux, AWS stack Managed cloud deployment, CI / CD processes and other aspects of the SDLC Manage contributions from other developers What will your first 6 months look like? Upgrade their LMS and set it up on more scalable cloud infrastructure foundations Implement improved analytics capabilities to let them know what lessons work best and which can be improved Propose and start implementing more extensive architectural improvements Participate in setting up the next level CI/CD processes Use your experience to contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes And even longer than that? Be part of a new AI / Machine Learning project What you will have done prior to this role; Strong coding experience in full stack Python web development, ideally using Django Experience designing and setting up cloud-based architecture (AWS, Azure or GCP is fine) Experience with DevOps processes and agile development Things you will be interested in if not done before; Machine learning and AI Kubernetes and containers Automating workflows User Experience design Mentoring junior engineers If you haven’t got a CV, feel free to drop me a message and I am happy to take a call.
