JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the PROJECT ENGINEER, the MILLWRIGHT is responsible in the installation, repair/ rehab of equipment and machines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performs installation of equipment (pumps, motors, agitator, machinery, bearings, etc.) based on approved engineering standards/drawings. Reviews approved drawings and ensure that all needed parts are in placed prior to equipment installation. Performs lay-outing, alignment of machine base anchor bolts, sole plates, base bolts etc. Performs alignment jobs on all rotating equipment pumps, reducers, drives, motors etc. Maintains good working relationship with superiors, co-workers, and other representatives, and maintain proper coordination and monitoring to ensure proper execution and early completion of work schedule. Prepares equipment checklist before commissioning. Ensures to follow rigging standard by checking load limits, on mobile cranes, overhead cranes, and cable sling against load on equipment being lifted. Ensures that newly installed equipment conforms to standard installation procedure. Maintains good housekeeping of working areas during and after job completion. Performs other occasional duties as deemed appropriate by the superior. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience Graduate of B.S IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (MECHATRONICS, ELECTRO-MECHANICAL, MECHANICAL TECH.) FRESH GRAD ARE WELCOME KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be proficient in handling special tools, hand tools, equipment and machines. Must be hard working trust worthy, diligent and with average intelligence quotient. Must have adequate knowledge in the maintenance of machines/ equipment in the paper making industry.
