Job Description - Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations) - Participating in tax audits and payroll - Preparing budget reports - Participate in ad hoc assignments Job brief We are looking for an organized Accounting Officer to manage our accounting department’s daily operations. The responsibilities of an Accounting Officer include analyzing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting and legal requirements, and preparing budgets. To be successful as an Accounting Officer, you should have knowledge of accounting competencies, and administration skills. Ultimately, a high-quality Accounting Officer should be able to successfully contribute to the organization’s financial efficiency, while maintaining records of expenditure and profits accurately. Job Responsibilities Maintaining daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations Preparing budgets regularly Monitoring expenditure and profits and providing reports Evaluating internal management systems, procedures and risks in order to provide recommendations. Managing business accounts and preparing financial statements. Manage month-end and year-end closing Participate in regular tax audits and payroll Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws Job Requirements Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting or related disciplines or aboveAt least 3-5 years working experience, preferable in medical industry Responsible, detail minded and hardworking with ability to handle multi-task Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas) Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin, both written and spoken Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero) Knowledgeable of Fuji system will be an advantageous Ability to prioritize work Immediate available is highly preferred We offer competitive remuneration packages with medical insurance, paid bank holidays, annual leave, performance bonus and chances for career development.
