We are looking for applicants with Mechanical/Electrical aptitude to join our filling manufacturing team, currently on afternoon shift. Working as part of a small team of Line Setters, you will be responsible for the performance and efficiency of a range of liquid filling machines including technical support, preventative maintenance, fault finding and trouble shooting. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following requirements: Essential skills & competencies high level mechanical aptitude and ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain a range of production line equipment ability to apply high level equipment maintenance skills, eg inspection, lubrication etc demonstrated ability to develop and lead a small team and use skills to positively influence outcomes; demonstrated problem solving and root cause analysis skills using formal problem-solving techniques; ability to build skills and capabilities in team members; demonstrated ability to coach and/or mentor; ability to deal with a degree of ambiguity, think clearly and make decisions under pressure; ability to communicate effectively at all levels with a range of different people sound numeracy and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail Knowledge sound understanding and application of safety management principles; sound understanding and application of good manufacturing practice (GMP); sound understanding and application of quality principles; sound understanding and application of engineering and maintenance practices and principles; sound understanding and application of LEAN principles to build sustainable outcomes Experience ideally, previous Line Setter / Mechanical or Electrical experience in a similar manufacturing environment operating high speed packaging equipment Trade qualifications will be an advantage Applications must be done through our online process, by clicking the Apply now button below
