Job purpose To lead the Foodservice Market Planning department (Demand and Supply) in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates (ordering, shipping, clearance, inventory management, and forecasting) to support the sales business plans at optimum cost by maintaining the right inventory levels and managing the cost to serve & cost to source. Key accountabilities Design and implement a strong order forecast process Develop a regional sourcing and shipping strategy to reduce sourcing and shipping costs for both markets Lead the implementation of new Market Planning processes and systems Lead the order management operations for Foodservice and ensure maximum availability at optimal inventory level. Screen and review internal & external information affecting sales/forecast, collected by Planners, and implement adjustments to statistical forecast if necessary, generated by Planners based on historical demand and other available data sources. Evaluating Supplier Performance upon demand, supply, quality and delivery requirements, and meet with suppliers to discuss performance metrics and forecasts Analyze the root cause of OOS in order to reduce it and collaborate with Category Managers to avoid that customer orders are affected. Analyse stocks which are exposed to expire and initiate liquidation with Commercial and Sales Analyze reasons for excess stocks and communicate to the Sales Managers in order to reduce the financial impact of stock holding Ensure that the most efficient ordering and shipping procedures are followed to reduce lead times. Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities for quick & smart analysis on various aspects of the Supply Planning business to enable value addition to the decision making process Establish metrics and key performance indicators for Market Planning and monitor on going performance against set goals Recruit and develop Market Planning talent based on set job profiles and ensure succession plan for managerial roles Engage, motivate and recognize employees to achieve or exceed objectives Provide the team with the needed formal and informal training, coaching and mentoring to enrich their career path Qualifications At least 7 years’ managerial experience in Demand & Supply Planning Bachelor Degree from any field (Eng., Supply Chain, BA preferable) Accredited Certification related to Supply Chain Advanced business / market knowledge Advanced forecasting skills / knowledge Strong Data analysis and interpretation skills Strong leadership skills Primary Location: AE-AE-Dubai Work Locations: TM UAE Al Qouz Warehouse Al Barsha, Al Qouz industrial area third.
