Context Working in the Engineering team within the Product & Technology department, this role exists within an international and multicultural context. The key activities are: Help the team to deliver our ambitious roadmap, Trace One is currently renewing its application suite and needs new skills to achieve Participate in the design, technical development and delivery of our new web applications Carry out development in accordance with the specifications and the chosen technical architecture Analyse the needs as specified by Product Management and translate them into the corresponding technical specifications Add any required technical specifications to support the application Hierarchy and interactions Reporting to Chapter Manager Front End Interacting with other departments, including Cloud Operations, Support, Product Management Degree of independence Individual contributor Responsibilities Application development Develop the front end application using the strategic technologies. Use of REST API to interact with the back end systems. Correct and optimise the functionalities (quality, graphic chart, ergonomics, etc.) Prepare appropriate solution / application documentation for further development and production launch Train internal users Participate in the production launch Provide application support Tests and writing necessary corrections Take responsibility for quality Prepare and perform unit tests Perform other tests as required within the E2E lifecycle e.g. load tests Make the necessary corrections Skills Adaptability and pro-activity in responding to user demands, while respecting development and architecture standards Ability to work to tight deadlines Ability and willingness to adapt to new languages and new development methods Adaptability & creativity when identifying appropriate technical solutions Working within a team, ensuring the team deliver the solution. Technical Skills React Redux Axios JavaScript unit tests and tools (e.g. Jest, Enzyme) HTML5 / CSS3 Clear and concise communication both written and oral Eligibility Only applicants who have a full entitlement to work in the UK will be considered for this role.
