Who we’re looking for Toyota’s Production Engineering (PE) Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Production Engineering Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to support machining/assembly key performance indicators (KPI) achievement to include safety, quality, productivity and cost as well as develop a self-reliant background to be a future new project contributor to TMMWV. Reporting to the PE Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering department's objective to provide manufacturing line support and capital projects procurement. What you’ll be doing Lead problem solving and kaizen implementation to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Lead project activity requiring management of internal and external resources Use Floor Management Development System (FMDS) to drive Toyota Business Practices (TBP) activity to improve KPI performance Follow Production Engineering (PE) problem solving methods (shikumi) to manage projects from concept through implementation Utilize FMDS process to prioritize and implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements Use FMDS way to develop strategies for KPI reflection to identify and correct gaps in standards What you bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or equivalent professional experience in gear machining and/or tooling Experience with gear machining (broaching, milling, drilling, turning, grinding, heat treat and skiving) Added bonus if you have: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering Degree with an emphasis in machining or gear engineering Project management experience Experience with Toyota Business practices Toyota manufacturing experience Automotive manufacturing experience What we’ll bring During your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
