THE JOB We're looking for a deeply creative and original digital graphic designer. Someone to take all of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and combine it to a beautiful and unique effect for our brand. You’ll work with a creative marketing team to: Nurture and enhance our distinctive brand identity Create original design and illustration that makes our brand and communications, y'know, 'pop' Develop the visual flow of our website and blog Ensure sales and promotional collateral — digital and print — engages our visually-focused audience Create landing pages that land Design email campaigns that get delivered and elicit a result Your part to play is to ensure there’s always a rug that ties the room (brand) together in every way, at every opportunity. We have a mature, distinctive, and well-defined brand for you to work with. You can bring your own unique, but complementary, signature to what we do. You’ll join a team that includes a content writer to make the words extraordinary, strategic planning focus, brand specialisation, and analysis/support. You’ll also offer visual support across the organisation (yes, including PowerPoint presentations — but we’ve shown that when done with a designer’s flair, they are oh-so powerful and memorable!). WHAT WE DO/WHO WE ARE Total Synergy creates business and project management software for people who design and make our built environment — architects, engineers, construction designers. We’ve been making software for our customers since 1999 — originally an on-premises application, now a pure cloud SaaS product built on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. We’re currently the preferred software for our industry in Australia and making inroads in the UK. We have a 16,000+ user community — we’re growing that community globally and have an office and teammates in the UK, and new customers on five continents. ABOUT YOU You love a collaborative team You have broad and deep design influences You don’t take yourself too seriously You love learning — expanding skills and knowledge and staying up to date with trends You’re ok jumping between detailed, planned work and ‘we need this within the hour!’ You reject stereotypes (and ‘stock photography’) MUST-HAVES Degree in visual arts, graphic design, or something like that You’re a geek-level Adobe Creative Cloud expert and proud of it (Ps, Ai, Id, Ae, Pr, at a minimum) Wordpress and email code capable (you’ve built Wordpress theme websites and understand how email code works) Illustration (hand and digital) — we love unique illustration and have lots you need to work with Print experience (you like ink on your fingers) You know how to edit videos Good sense of humour (this is mandatory) NICE TO HAVE STUFF Photography Videography HTML and CSS knowledge WHAT WILL MAKE YOUR FIRST YEAR A STANDOUT Happily integrating into the whole team and culture You have a good sense of humour (no pressure) Owning your role and championing the power and value of visual creative Continuing and evolving the illustration we have, adding your unique signature Exceeding your goals and performance metrics FINAL OFFICIAL BITS To apply, you must be a permanent Australian resident, currently living in Australia.
