Responsibilities Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of confidentiality, customer service and professionalism; responsible for promoting a positive image of the Company. Defines and recommends employee relations practices to establish positive employer-employee relations and promote a high level of employee morale. Implements and administers the performance appraisal programs, employee benefits programs, and may assist the risk manager with company safety and health programs, workers compensation claims, etc. Evaluates and administers new and existing employee benefits including: 401(k), health insurance, disability insurance, and other benefit plan options. Responsible for the payroll function of the company- process payroll correctly and on time. Administer payroll procedures, prepare reports for the accounting department, and resolve any payroll problems or discrepancies. Ensures that all Human Resource policies and procedures are in compliance with and adhere to standards by regulatory agencies; conducts ongoing reviews of HR policies, practices and programs to ensure continuing quality improvement and effectiveness. Performs miscellaneous projects as requested by management.
