We are looking for a team member who can work closely with managers and leadership at the company to help drive people operations forward, continue to improve the employee experience and think innovatively in terms of building process to improve the company. Role Responsibilities Work as a partner on the people side of the business, collaborating with other people-focused team members across the company. Provide coaching to team members pertaining to professional development, conflict resolution and change management. Aligning yourself with other leaders and gaining context through on-going conversations with stakeholders. Partners with department managers to consistently improve the overall employee experience from onboarding through to exit. Masters an understanding of roles and relationships within the organization, and can support in conversations around role clarity and professional development as a result. Supports and leads change as needed around policies designed to improve our ability to offer a world-class people-focused approach to managing team members. Supports and executes on compensation conversations, feedback check-ins and engagement surveys with senior management and leadership teams. Proactively identifies organizational needs as it applies to improving employee engagement and development. Qualifications 3+ years experience in a human resources or related role. Proven track record of identifying people problems and using strategic skills to drive and influence appropriate solutions Proven experience providing business insights to inform people strategy Ability to work collaboratively and come up with creative solutions Proven track record as a self-starter capable of working through ambiguity, roadblocks and high-pressure scenarios First-class written, verbal, and presentation skills A post-secondary diploma, degree or certificate in human resources management Knowledge of provincial human rights and employment and labor standards laws Experience with Google Docs (Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and Microsoft Word, Excel, etc A demonstrated passion for people Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to maintain composure in demanding situations Team player!
