IT/IS Support Associate We are looking for a talented individual who loves people and technology. As a Think Logistics IT Support Associate, you will work alongside our IT/IS team and assist in supporting both our underlying Information systems and our user base. Excellent interpersonal skills are a must as is the ability to work independently and in a team environment. We are a dynamic organization and the perfect candidate will be able to understand and assess issues quickly. The successful candidate will fill the following roles in the organization: Responsibilities: · Supporting day-to-day network and hardware maintenance, support and troubleshooting. Provide technical support for users; troubleshoot and resolve users’ technical issues and provide related information and advices to users’ inquiries Communicate effectively and proficiently with all users, internal team members and external partners Deploy, maintain, repair and update user hardware and software; Identify and implement group policies and system optimizations for all users’ hardware and software Support user on-boarding and off-boarding process Document support cases, HW/SW inventory updates and follow up on open cases Participate in monitoring the organizations cyber security activities Monitor backup jobs and overall system performance, such as server systems, LAN/WAN, DB Escalate major and urgent system technical issues to IT team or/and related external technical support resources Testing and researching new software/hardware, features & functionality. Technical Competencies Desired: · Experience setting up and managing cloud-based infrastructure using MS Azure · Cisco Networking experience in a routed, WAN/LAN MPLS environment · Avaya IP Office Telephony experience · Extensive MS Windows Server and AD experience · MS SQL Administration experience Education/Professional Development Requirements: Relevant University degree or College diploma is a definite asset.
