Our University of Wollongong (UOW) Mac1 Service store in Wollongong is offering a unique retail opportunity for 1x part time & 1x casual team member/s to help university students and customers find the Apple devices, tech accessories & Apple tech support they need to Unlock Their Potential. Experience in selling technology, retail & understanding of computer repairs is ideal. Candidates with this experience will be fast tracked through the recruitment process Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring UOW students are equipped with the supplies they require to unlock their potential. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring there is adequate stock of Apple devices & tech accessories available for sale at all times, merchandise products on the floor, and booking in/checking out Apple repair jobs. We’re looking for unique individuals who possess: Experience in retail and working in a team Manning the front counter Opening and closing of tills Excellent customer service skills Stock and warehousing abilities Experience in tertiary textbooks and requirements Experience with selling technology Strong written and verbal communication skills Record keeping/administration skills Ability to work independently and also be part of a team Enthusiastic and positive attitude to work Excellent time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure Ability to meet deadlines and change direction at the drop of a hat Previous experience in retail or similar will help you stand out from the pack The successful applicant must have the ability to apply and be approved for a Working with Children check that they will be responsible for.
