Human Resources and Recruitment Officer A fantastic opportunity has arisen as we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional Human Resources to act as an integral part of the HR team. As Human Resources and Recruitment Officer you will be responsible for leading the recruitment function for the hotel including pro-actively seeking candidates through social media, advertising roles, interviewing candidates, organising recruitment campaigns and attending careers and job fairs. It is desirable, therefore, that you are able to demonstrate a good understanding and knowledge of both the luxury hospitality industry and service excellence as well as the requirements of the various positions within Food & Beverage/Rooms/Administration divisions. As you will work closely with Department Heads and Senior Management of the hotel you will be able to demonstrate a strategic approach as well as the ability to build rapport & relationships with internal & external customers, work in a pressured environment & use initiative as well as work in an organised manner, meeting deadlines. The role will also involve assisting with ER issues and ad hoc HR projects/administration as and when required, therefore recruitment, employee relations and general HR experience within a luxury hospitality environment is essential. You will also be able to lead by example with relation to communication, attention to detail and service excellence and ensure that HR policies and procedures are applied and followed appropriately and consistently. To implement and lead on a recruitment strategy Pro-actively source talent from a variety of sources To manage the full recruitment cycle including but not limited to advertising, shortlisting, screening candidates, organising interviews with hiring managers, conducting reference checks, and working with the Human Resources Administrator in processing offers and issuing employment contracts To ensure effective use of social media which attracts talent To develop and maintain industry networks and partnerships To assist with any ER related matters i.e. absence management, maternity, paternity and disciplinary hearing and grievances To assist and or lead with the execution of project work related to the wider hotel and department Requirements: Recruitment and selection experience is essential up to Managerial level Employee relations experience, i.e., absence management, performance issues, is a must To be a self-starter with a passion for the hospitality industry with experience within 5-star luxury hotels CIPD qualifications level 5 upwards is desirable knowledge of Job Train, Talent Toolbox and Fourth Hospitality HR systems.
