We are looking for high-calibre individuals to join the Legal Office for serving the HKMC Group. Job Descriptions To provide legal and regulatory advice and support to various functions and business units for legal due diligence, contract review, drafting agreements and other general legal and regulatory support; To assist in supervising and work closely with the company secretarial team on company secretarial work (including organising board meetings, committee meetings and shareholders' meetings, drafting of minutes and other related documents), and to advise on corporate governance matters; To ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory filing and reporting matters including compliance with the Companies Ordinance, the Insurance Ordinance and other relevant statutory and regulatory requirements; and To prepare or to assist preparing company secretarial or general corporate documents such as directors’ reports, annual reports, corporate governance reports. Requirements Qualified lawyer with a minimum of five years post-qualification experience, preferably corporate or commercial lawyer with solid company secretarial experience gained in-house or within professional firms; Able to work independently; Able to handle internal stakeholders with confidence as well as show flexibility with handling ad hoc matters; and Strong communication skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
