The Department Our Raceday Operations, Tracks and Racing Facilities Department assumes responsibility for raceday operations, managing tracks operations and racing facilities. It is an interesting, busy and natural environment where you will find some of Hong Kong's most colourful people, like racing professionals, world class sportsman, agronomist and engineers. The mission of the tracks section is to produce world class racing, training and equestrian surfaces under challenging subtropical climatic conditions by the application of best turf management, track maintenance and construction practices. We are looking for a proactive and highly-motivated individual to join our team. The Job You will: assist to supervise a team of workers as assigned for general maintenance of trees, landscape areas and related areas with arboriculture services support tree inspection and maintain tree inventory data base assist to prepare reports regarding tree survey, tree felling and etc according to statutory requirements carry out tree and landscape maintenance works assist to deliver training and develop hands-on-skills training for manual workers be required to attend race meeting duties assist ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor About You You should: be tertiary educated have minimum 3 years relevant working experience in the related field be familiar with chain-saw operation have proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. A good command of Putonghua will be an asset have patience to work under tough weather condition have proficiency MS Office applications have a valid driving licence (Class 1 & 2), Class 18 will be an advantage Terms of Employment The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
