Working closely with our Treasury and Risk departments and maintaining relationships with third parties, our Finance team are looking for someone who can prepare reconciliations, process supplier invoices, prepare banking transactions and staff expenses and ensure the accurate and timely posting of journal entries and transactions. About the Role In this varied role, there are a number of key responsibilities including Preparing and maintaining The Cumberland’s daily accounting records Processing electronic and cheque payments Monitoring, reviewing and updating interest rate fixings on derivatives transactions Working with other departments within the Society (Operations and Finance) to determine daily funding requirements ensuring bank accounts are appropriately funded to meet obligations Providing daily suite of reports detailing outstanding transactions and Treasury positions, including wholesale credit exposures Maintaining cash management process Maintaining the collateral management process, ensuring CSA / GMRA records and derivatives portfolios are regularly updated About You We’ll give you the tools you need to thrive and succeed in the role, including training on systems and processes.
