We are currently recruiting for an Asset Analyst to join our Energy, Minerals and Infrastructure Team based at St James's Market, London. The Crown Estate is an independent commercial business, created by an Act of Parliament. Our role is to make sure that the land and property we invest in and manage are sustainably worked, developed and enjoyed to deliver the best value over the long term. We are entrusted to invest in and manage some of the UK's most important and best loved assets. Our business includes the whole of Regent Street and much of St James's, Windsor Great Park, numerous retail parks, many thousands of acres of rural and coastal land, and the UK's seabed. We play a major role in the development of the offshore wind energy industry in the UK. We not only manage the UK seabed out to the 12 nautical mile territorial sea limit but also, under the 2004 Energy Act, hold the rights to the resources to develop renewable energy within the renewable energy zone, which extends out to the continental shelf. We are currently recruiting for an Asset Analyst to join our Energy, Minerals and Infrastructure Team based at St James's Market, London. This is a unique opportunity to support our growing energy portfolio by providing financial and analytical support to the team on a number of key business areas for the portfolio. This role will be responsible for carrying out assumption and scenario based modelling, as well as providing financial evidence for transactional activities to aid decision making and ensure financial feasibility. This role is also responsible for project reporting and supporting our income forecasting and valuations process. This is a varied and busy role, so we are looking for someone who has exacting attention to detail and can work well under pressure with lots going on at once. We are looking for applicants with strong analytical and numeracy skills, with proven experience of building and running financial appraisals. You will have an understanding, or have ideally worked within the energy sector and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to being successful in this role.
