Responsibilities- Facilitate an adapted art class for young adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities. The art consultant will lead a group of 10-15 participants through the process of completing a unique art/craft. Participants have a range of physical, social and cognitive disabilities. Two art classes are offered from 10:00-10:50 and 11:00-11:50am for 7 weeks. The program is called Our Place Wellness Enrichment Program at The Arc of San Diego. Details will be discussed further upon inquiry. Required work experience- Experience planning, implementing, facilitating, leading, instructing and guiding a group of young adults-seniors in art/craft completion. Skills- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with developmental/intellectual delay. Must have liability insurance to establish licensed contract with The Arc of San Diego.
