Description: Tharp Custom Cabinetry, Northern Colorado’s Largest Custom Cabinet Builder is seeking an experienced Director of Operations and Engineering for its Loveland, Colorado Manufacturing Facility. The director is responsible for operation of all manufacturing and engineering. Builds and develops organization processes and procedures to support strategic direction. Establishes operations initiative for improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost Control, and Service. Be a strong partner for Sales, Accounting, Delivery, and Service. Effectively communicate plans, progress, and challenges. Must have the ability to decrease direct labor & OH as % of sales by 200bps. Decrease material spend. Top grade. Capex/Automation. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. Engineering preferred. 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience. 5+ years of Lean implementation. Ability to lead and coach Lean doctrine. Engineering & CAD experience or management experience a plus. Proven track record of success & verified accomplishments. Participative management style (mentor, team builder, coach). Strong communication skills. Works well on cross functional teams. Customer focus. Quantitative & data focused. Scrappy – Do more with less, quickly! Experience with Aesthetic product preferred, wood processing a big plus.
