We’re looking for an HR Consultant to reinforce our growing team. Specifically, we are looking for a generalist who is passionate about all aspects of HR and thrives on change and variety. Key Responsibilities: The Human Resources Consultant will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: Recruitment support Create, review and update client policies, handbooks and other documents to ensure they are compliant with the relevant legislation as well as best practices Investigate and resolve employee relations issues Provide advice on performance and/or disciplinary issues Assist with the administration of terminations per client needs Prepare material for training sessions and/or seminars Keep current with existing and proposed laws and regulations affecting HR practices Assist with specialized projects such as compensation reviews, HR audits and HRIS implementations Other HR & Administrative tasks, as required * Competencies: * We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual that possesses the following competencies: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Phenomenal attention to detail The ability to work independently and in a team environment Willingness to give and receive feedback Willingness to learn new technology and systems Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Human Resources 3-5 years of experience working as a generalist or coordinator in HR Valid driver’s license and your own vehicle to hop from site to site, as necessary CPHR designation,or interest in pursuing the designation, is considered an asset Experience with Microsoft Office 365 is considered an asset We Offer: Competitive compensation package Flexible work environment Opportunities for growth and professional development Access to a diverse HR team with varied experience & knowledge This is a full-time position that is expected to work 37.5 hours Monday through Friday.
