Main goals of the job This position is to strengthen Teknos Group's ICT team in its mission to support Teknos' strategy of fast and profitable growth. The main role of the ERP Application Specialist is to ensure the smooth daily operation of Teknos ERP and related IT solutions, in close cooperation with other Application/Solution Specialists, Group ERP Solution Manager, the IT infrastructure team, and external partners. Daily tasks and responsibilities The ERP Application Specialist is administrating and maintaining the Teknos Group ERP (IFS Applications), and other ERP related IT solutions, ensuring smooth operability for Teknos business units. Monitoring the ERP solutions and proactively solve various issues and incidents that may cause usage interruptions, together with the ICT teams and external partners, forms the basis of this versatile position. The ERP Application Specialist also participates and supports in various development projects, including ERP Rollouts to companies within Teknos Group. Typical responsibilities include Creation and maintenance of Operational Reports/Layouts and other reports using various reporting tools, including IFS Report Designer, Crystal Reports, SQL-queries, IFS Lobby etc. Creation and maintenance of Custom objects (views, fields, events, etc.) including testing and version management Perform data migrations and executing other data quality related tasks using ERP migration tools, in close partnership with Solution Specialists and/or external partners. Participate in development and maintenance of ERP related integrations, both to other ERP related solutions as well as external partners (eg. outsourced WMS). Troubleshooting and supporting ERP team leaders, key users and end users in various error situations, normally 2nd level support This position may by filled also as a manager role, if the candidate fulfils expected criteria. For the Application Manager role, we further expect good team leading and project manager skills, needed to successfully coordinate the daily work of Application team members, working either as direct reports or through a matrix organization. The Application Manager actively participates in developing IT processes within Teknos. Qualifications The successful candidate has proven experience of complex ERP solutions, eg. IFS, Oracle, SAP, Axapta and good understanding of relational databases, eg. Oracle, MS SQL, mySQL. To succeed in this position, Oracle SQL and MS SQL skills are required, and Oracle PL/SQL and other coding knowledge is appreciated. You are familiar with various reporting tools, eg. Crystal Reports, IFS Report Designer, MS Datawarehouse components. Your way of working is calm, systematic and precise, and maintaining technical documentation is natural for you. On top of this you have at least basic Project Management skills which you are willing to develop further. As we are a globally operating company, we expect you to be fluent in English. Preferably you have several years of relevant work experience and a suitable academic degree.
