Tecside are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Health & Safety Quality Officer to work with one of our highly recognized Tier 1 clients, the role is a full-time permanent position located at Eastern Creek. Pay rate is between $100-110K depending on experience. About the Role: · Assist in the facilitation of communication between stakeholders and promote commitment to the Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management policies · Undertake safety and hazard audits including workplace and “in-field” assessments e.g. manual handling etc · Co-ordinate the on-going implementation of the site and divisional specific Environmental Management Plans and Integrated Management Plans · Coordinate environmental risk assessments and audits, both internal and second/third party · Coordinate the collection, recording and reporting greenhouse gas emission data as required · Ensure that the Greenhouse Gas Reduction and Energy Efficiency Plans are developed, maintained and executed · Coordinate regulatory compliance inspections and reports · Managing the work performance of self by continually directing focus on the business plan objectives · Assist in coordinating and administering OH&S, Environmental and Quality policies, guidelines and procedures across project · Assist in identifying, developing and delivering HSEQ training so that all staff, consultants and contractors are aware of their organisational obligations · Assist in the investigation of incidents and recommending remedial action · Advise consultants and contractors on HSEQ requirements · Reporting through agreed reporting lines on project progress · Measuring and reporting on progress against project plans To be considered you will possess the following skills attributes and Qualifications: · OH & S Green Card · Environmental Diploma/Degree; and/or · Occupational Health and Safety Diploma/Degree · Previous large infrastructure project experience · Previous experience with the preparation and development of technical and systems documents · Minimum 2 year’s experience in similar position · Environmental Co-ordination · Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project or a similar software About us: With recognition amongst many major global partners and a distribution network that spans throughout Australia, the UK, South East Asia and the Middle East, our vision is to be recognized as a global partner of choice in the safe provision of people to people solutions, operating within the Technical & Professional, Oil & Gas, Operations & Maintenance, Construction, Transport & Logistics and Manufacturing markets.
