Overview: The legal intern will assist our Legal Coordinator with administrative tasks such as filing, invoicing and generating reports in our legal tracking system. An interest in legal research is desired. The ideal candidate will be working towards pre-law or political science degree (Junior or Senior year) with plans to pursue a career in the field upon completing degree. This position is a paid internship and the schedule will vary between 15-20 hours a week. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports legal document preparation and handles related regulatory filings. Conducts research in support of legal analysis. Supports legal team in tracking and submitting invoices. Pulling and generating legal reports in the legal tracking system (Serengeti). Filing and organization of IP portfolio. General administration tasks - such as organization and preparation of various documents (corporate, legal). Assist with scheduling and coordinating group meetings. Computer Skills: Outlook, Microsoft Office. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience: Junior or Senior-level student pursuing Political Science, Pre-Law or similar studies.
