The rotational job duties performed by an EIT are: o Overseeing the day to day metallurgical performance of the plant and participate in optimizing a SAG/Ball mill and copper/molybdenum flotation circuits. o Maintaining and ensuring analysis equipment and controls are effective and operational. o Provide technical information and develop, train and set operational guidelines. o Developing and executing mill capital and operational projects. o Preparing and publishing daily metallurgical balances. o Investigating process problems and developing solutions to optimize efficiency. o Management of a concentrate inventory balance and tracking of concentrate logistics activities. o Conduct daily performance monitoring and provide technical support for tailings storage facility development. A degree in Metallurgical, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering and enrolled (or eligible) as an EIT with EGBC. 0 - 3 years of base metal processing plant knowledge. Experience with Crushing, Grinding, Flotation and dewatering is an asset. Experience with metallurgical test programs – laboratory and plant scale is an asset. Good knowledge of all MS office applications with the ability to perform basic programming in Excel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
