Operator, Roads & Maintenance Multiple Positions in Tamworth The Infrastructure & Works Division of Tamworth Regional Council covers a wide variety of maintenance work on sealed roads, unsealed roads, bridges, footpaths and stormwater drainage. We are looking for individuals with experience operating heavy plant, concreting, laying pipes, driving trucks and general labouring. Ideally you will have completed a Certificate III in Civil Construction, but we will consider applicants that have been working in a related field and can demonstrate significant experience. A HR Driver Licence as well as Traffic Control tickets would be highly regarded. To be successful in this role, you’ll be prepared to have a go at whatever job is thrown your way, work independently as required and also be able to work effectively in a team. This position has been classified as a Grade 6 with a salary range of $946.60 to $1,024.30 (base rate) for 38 hours work per week. The hours of work will be from 7.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday with a 9 day fortnight arrangement. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a Pre-employment Medical Screening including Alcohol & Other Drugs Testing.
