Finance Intern (CORP) - Summer 2020 The Finance Intern position is a general support position and is intended to be a learning opportunity for those with an interest in Finance. The primary focus of this internship will be a project based on Capital Asset Inventory and Reconciliation. Position Specific Responsibilities Perform a variety of project related tasks in order to accomplish objectives and goals related to assigned projects. Learn and complete general analyst and accounting tasks and acquire corporate knowledge by completing inventory of corporate assets, reconciliation of assets to resources in Epicor ERP, reconciliation of allocation information, and associated reporting/analysis. This individual will be able to connect financial data against assets, maintenance costs, and book value versus market value. May provide general office support as needed. Perform other duties as necessary. Qualifications & Requirements Preference given to those who have completed their second year of business undergraduate degree program. Understanding of accounting principles such as projects related to depreciation, financing, and/or accounting systems. Skilled in Emotional Intelligence to relate to production and management. High IQ to understand systems and concepts quickly. Intermediate level in the use of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel. Great attitude and strong work ethic. An interest in manufacturing environments is a plus. Must be able to lift 40 pounds in a safe manner, and request assistance when warranted.
