As our business continues to grow we have a number of exciting career opportunities for Java Software Developers with commercial experience. As a Developer with us you will join the team responsible for the development and maintenance of our software applications who work at the forefront of our business in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. To be successful, you should be able to work and communicate well with others, be enthusiastic, proactive, creative and enjoy projects. Technically, you will have knowledge of J2SE programming, understanding of web architectures and database skills. Your knowledge/experience in Java will include software design principles and familiarity with algorithms and data structures. Required Skills and Knowledge: Database knowledge (SQL, schema design) Proactive attitude Ability to own projects and work both independently and in a team, in rapidly changing conditions Core knowledge of algorithms and data structures Understanding of common OO design patterns Desired skills and knowledge: Computer Science degree (BSc/MSc) or similar from a leading university Commercial core Java experience Database experience (hibernate, JDBC) Understanding of network technologies (HTTP, JS, HTML, XML) Ability to read/develop clean and self-documented code as part of a team Ability to write clear technical documentation We offer a competitive salary package and bonus scheme, flexible hours, a well stocked complimentary kitchen and pizza events!
