***To apply for this position, please visit our website: www.whistler.com/careers*** Position Summary Reporting to the Director, Whistler.com & Visitor Services, the Manager, Visitor Information & Ask Whistler leads the Visitor Centre and Ask Whistler teams with a focus on continuously providing an exceptional customer service experience for the in-resort visitor. The Manager is a strong leader who is focused on providing an exceptional visitor experience both in person at the Visitor Centre and via digital technology. This position works closely with other Tourism Whistler teams, providing valuable guest information and feedback to assist in developing marketing, sales and visitor experience strategies that maximize resources and opportunities to achieve guest satisfaction, room night, and revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Act as a Tourism Whistler ambassador, living our purpose and vision with passion & energy, achievement and respect Manager of the Visitor Services team including: Lead Agent, Visitor Kiosk, and Ask Whistler Recruit, motivate and develop the teams Manage customer service and sales training for staff Review of Visitor Centre practices and ensure a continuous, streamlined and effective approach Responsible for customer communications including: positive feedback, challenges, and guest service complaints Administer the Visitor Centre point of sale software including: product loading, inventory management, pricing, and financial reconciliation Oversee the Visitor Centre scheduling process and bi-weekly payroll approval Liaise regularly with the Whistler.com Supervisor, the Chamber and RMOW Village Host program to ensure consistent and clear communication Track Visitor Centre metrics and provide reports to Destination BC Coordinate Tourism Whistler Street Team as required Other projects as required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Extensive knowledge of Whistler required Previous leadership experience in a similar role, with success supervising an operations team Passion and focus on achieving results Demonstrated ability to build long term relationships with diverse stakeholders Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal Financial experience including managing multiple budgets Availability for a flexible work schedule ***To apply for this position, please visit our website: www.whistler.com/careers*** Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
