Role summary The role is responsible for running accounts payable (AP) activities, processes and reports. Additionally, we are looking for talented individuals that will develop/diversify their skills on the accounts receivable (AR) side to provide support in the internal “Finance Operations Centre of Excellence”. The Fin Ops Team also supports the Tax & Controllership team head office ensuring appropriate billing back up and documentation in place during financial audits. The Fin Ops Specialist will play an important role in the financial operations processes and will be part of the team based in Warsaw & Amsterdam. Functions/Responsibilities: Develop AP Super user skills with the aim of becoming the “go to person” on AP system issues Understand and control on a real time basis the inflows and outflows of the AP accounts Process invoices using OCR technology process payments and vendor master data change requests Clear remaining bank items Follow up on reconciliation open items Manage AP Sub Ledger/GL Interface Controls Prepare monthly reconciliations. Perform reconciliation cycle within 5 days pushing further automation of the reconciliations and reduce open items to minimum with support from the regions Support monthly and quarterly financial close Assist production of AP BOC Report; plus have an ability to present such reports in Team meetings Update policies & procedures Provide training on a European level on TIP’s AP Processes Refund Processing/Payments Post VAT Refund on Write-Offs Post Bank Journals not allocated by Cash Allocators Required: 1-3 years’ experience financial process/LEAN experience Excellent Excel skills, analytical skills Fluent in English – additional languages preferred Optimistic & positive can do approach Able to deal with various departments like Risk & Cash allocator, IT, in other countries Problem solving spirit Willingness to periodically travel to TIP headquarters in Amsterdam Preferred: Pan- European experience, lease industry experience Strong knowledge of ALS, Smart Stream GL & Payables a plus Project management skills- ability to manage people & tasks in complex projects LEAN/Quality Mind set Application Please upload and submit your personal details, motivation letter.
