Roles & Responsibilities Roles & Responsible Be responsible for researching / collecting/ interpreting market data of APAC based market/industry/corporate and formulating research reports and making recommendation to our corporate finance relationship managers and credit officers -Inititiate credit research coverage of APAC- based oil & gas companies, SOEs, corporate and FIs, and monitor their perfomanceon an ongoing basis Draft credit research notes for issuers whose syndicated loans, bonds, debentures and hybrids the bank is considering investing in Analyse the impact of macroeconomic and market developments on the bank's current potential exposures Research sector and issuer-level news, earnings and other events on a daily basis and disseminate the impact on current and potential portfolio tot he relationship management and credit approval teams Partner the relationship management and syndicated loans teams in issuer outreach initiatives Maintain an active dialogue with issuers, banks, buy and sell side and rating agency analyst and journalist Requirements 2-5 years of credit research experience in a bank, buy or sell side firm or credit rating agency Sound oral and writetn communication skills in English and Bahasa Strong interest in financial markets Either a post graduate qualification in Economics, Finance or Business Admin (specializing in finance) or a CFA designation will be ideal Well versed in MS Excel based financial modeling/projections and proficient Bloomberg used will be an advantage
