TEICON is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer (m/f/d) | Operator Training for Ethylene Plant in the Johannesburg area | SOUTHAFRICA Process Engineer (m/f/d) | OPERATOR TRAINING MAIN TASKS Assessment of the operator’s knowledge via a plant oriented online questionnaire. Evaluation of the required training topics based on the answers from the assessment and preparation of an assessment report. Execution of the training: plant design, process units and their task, equipment with special considerations, discussion of basic process control, plant operation, operation of units, handling of process disturbances, troubleshooting, communication, procedures, documents, etc. QUALIFICATION PROFILE Profound knowledge of process design and operation of a Ethylene Plant Fluent in English language Experience in training operational staff with existing training documents on process and operational topics of an Ethylene Plant. Knowledge in generating a questionnaire from the plant documentation and existing question catalogues to check the level of experience of plant operators, check the answers and generate a first report. Knowledge in generating training documents based on the plant documentation and existing presentations from as well as the results from the assessment with Microsoft Software - Microsoft Word - Microsoft PowerPoint.
