The Patient Services Advocate provides courteous, professional and efficient lobby/door service for patients, their guests, and contractors. Monitor and maintain courteous lobby and building environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provides access patients, delivery, and service personnel and management’s request. Maintains contractor log, visitor log, and patient log. Obtains identification as required. Monitors entrances and exits, and all activity in the front lobby and rear entrances where applicable Maintains a clean and orderly front desk, lobby area, and storage closets where applicable Documents issues on Accident/Incident Reports. Notifies the Police when necessary and communicates incidents to Management Adheres to established policies. Communicates with co-workers, management, patients, vendors, and all outside contacts in a courteous and professional manner Maintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, patients, past and current patients, vendors, and all outside contacts Assists in maintaining building lobby cleanliness, cleans glass/carpets as needed REQUIREMENTS Ability to apply good common sense when assisting patients and their guests Must be friendly and service oriented Ability to resolve minor problems while maintaining a friendly and professional manner Ability to communicate effectively Must be team oriented Staff Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits plan to all regular, full-time employees.
