The role is integral in the Onboarding of new employees and is responsible for providing essential training, development and coaching to advance the skills of the workforce. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Travelling 35% to locations through the organizational footprint Coordinate with HR and Hiring Leader on new technician start dates Perform Orientation Training Perform New Hire Training Program (Safety, Classroom, CATV, Litmos, etc.) Serves as a trainer and coach to technicians – presents actionable plans to get them prepared for a production technician role Ensure all Safety/Training checklists and tests are completed Work with Warehouse to issue tools and assets (vehicle, meter, phone, etc.) Assign New Hire Trainee to ride along with Certified Trainer Work with Management and Warehouse to schedule route start date QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated ability to deliver formal presentations and/or training content Manage and maintain the curriculum Ability to develop and motivate representatives to ensure performance metrics are consistently attained Must have at least 3-5 years of Cable Television Industry and Broadband Communication experience Supervisory skills and the ability to multitask Familiarity with Quality assurance in the Cable TV industry; survey technician roles and trouble shooting Training experience in the data, security, and CATV industry preferred Willing to travel over 35% of the time Must be comfortable working in inclement weather, confined spaces, and heights May require some heavy physical labor i.e. handling of/operating equipment Must possess the capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly. Ability to manage stress, exercise self-control, adhere to company policies and uphold the mission of the organization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as outstanding organizational Skills Microsoft Office Proficient: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to pass background and drug screen WORKING CONDITIONS: Moderate, well-lighted to limited visibility, limited exposure to confined but ventilated work areas. Subject to frequent interruptions and deadlines. May work long or irregular hours.
