We are currently recruiting for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated industry expert join our team. If you have direct experience working within established Agriculture and/or Horticulture industry networks and you enjoy connecting with people, this could be the role for you. About the role: As the Placement Coordinator Agriculture and Horticulture, you liaise with organisations across Gippsland to source placement opportunities, as well as establish and maintain effective working relationships and networks. You work closely with the Program Manager and teaching team to drive and implement the continuous improvement of the current placement process. The Placement Coordinator Agriculture and Horticulture facilitates open and transparent communication between all stakeholders including teachers, students, hosts and employers. You actively participate in relevant focus groups, events and other forums, and support the establishment, maintenance and development of vocational placement steering committees. About you: You are an exceptional communicator with the ability to influence, negotiate and gain cooperation. You are adept at building and managing effective stakeholder relationships at all levels. You enjoy engaging with people, have a proactive approach to your work and the desire to assist students to gain the skills they need. You are highly organised, have exceptional time management skills and the drive to achieve and work independently. A six-month probationary period applies to this position.
