SSI needs to add a Logistics Analyst to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy. Your key duties will be to: Perform clerical or technical supply support work necessary to ensure the effective operation of ongoing supply activities. Analyze documents, tech data, usage data, maintenance practices, operation characteristics, and related reports. Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of multiple logistics elements. Analyze data and prepare reports. Monitor Inventory and analyze requirements through acquisition, cataloging, storage, distribution, utilization to ultimate issue for consumption or disposal. Track and update action items and deliverables. If this aligns with your experience and sounds like it is the career path you wish to progress, these are the requirements to be considered for this position: Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience in lieu of education. Must be able to attain and retain a SECRET clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word programs is highly desired. Energetic, positive thinking, and able to work in a flexible dynamic environment. Detailed oriented and able to prioritize tasking. Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope following detailed instructions. Must know how to explain reported data. DAWIA or Equivalent Integrated Product Support or Logistics Management Training and Certifications desired. Interest in Electronics Technology is a plus.
