SOFTWARE SUPPORT CONSULTANT - SYNQ SOFTWARE SUPPORT SYNQ OUR OPPORTUNITY This role is based in our state of the art offices in Sydney Olympic Park which is within walking distance from public transport and parking stations. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring customer IT sites operate efficiently through the optimisation of an in-house Warehouse Management Software (WMS) system. THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON We are seeking an individual who has; Strong customer centric individual with experience to support production applications and ability to conduct root cause analysis in conjunction with other team for repeat issues. Sound knowledge of SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL), familiar with application support on application servers like Glassfish, Web Logic. Experience in release management process, including deploying code changes to UAT and production environment. Understanding of ITIL framework, Java EE programming language (Java EJB knowledge will be highly regarded). Comfortable with Linux operating system, knowledge of Unix scripting will be an advantage. An analytical and strong attention to detail to identify trends and patterns with incident management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A team player attitude and positive outlook. Strong interest in innovation and continuous improvement with technical applications. Excellent incident management skills which involve performing in-depth analysis of issue resolution Excellent time management skills for the coordination of multiple tasks. Willingness and ability to travel, if required locally as well as overseas. Must have working rights in Australia. Willingness to be on 24x7 standby roster is mandatory OPPORTUNITY This is a customer facing role which requires daily interaction with customers typically over phone, by email and face to face. Working closely with key external stakeholders, this role will; Provide remote software application support for customer sites across ANZ region. Able to Handle software incidents, conduct detailed problem analysis to find root cause of repeat incidents. Contribute to in-depth functional testing (manual and automated tool based) for project implementation and enhancements. Participate in commissioning and training at customer sites as required. Manage monthly incident meetings with clients. This is a customer facing role which requires daily interaction with end customer typically over phone and email. Contact Neha Tyagi Mrs
