Reporting to the GM HR, this role partners with the Melbourne Retail business, a footprint of retail dealerships, service centres and an experience store within the Melbourne metro area. While this role is operationally hands on, it offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of our retail transformation, implementing a digital platform to create a seamlessly connected customer experience. You will work in a consultative and collaborative capacity with the business leaders and wider HR team on all areas of HR, including employee relations, diversity in the workplace, culture, performance management, talent management including future potential talent while closely collaborating with the leadership team to grow and improve the business. Your knowledge of legislation, change management, organisational design and best practice HR will be utilised and you will enjoy working in a fast paced retail environment. To secure this role you will need: To be an experienced HR business partner with 7+ years’ experience and formal tertiary qualifications; Extensive experience at partnering with business leaders to implement initiatives, identify risk areas and consult on a range of people issues to drive business outcomes; Experience in proactive management of people issues to produce the best outcomes for the business; Experience in a change or transformational culture where you have worked with business leaders/teams to implement change and new ways of operating; Strong stakeholder management skills, capabilities to build trusted relationships and ability to have difficult conversations with stakeholders during periods of change.
