ABOUT THIS ROLE As the Curriculum Developer at Strive, you’ll have the opportunity to develop the curriculum and pedagogy to transform managers into leaders. You will work directly with Strive’s customer success lead, CEO and team of trained facilitators to create dynamic learning experiences that help our participants reach their developmental and professional goals. If you have taught in a university, facilitated trainings in a corporate setting or have teaching and curriculum design experience in the classroom, we want to hear from you! In this role, your focus will include: Curriculum Design – Create rich and detailed interactive curricula for leadership skills essential to success in the modern workforce—building upon (or rebuilding) our existing frameworks and shaping curricular strategy for Strive. Design for multiple modalities (in-person and remote classes) for learners around the world. Pedagogy – Build pedagogy and teacher’s kits to help Strive’s coaches and facilitators teach exceptional, interactive classes built around principles of active learning. Testing & Iterating – Manage ongoing improvement of curricula, by listening closely to both internal and external stakeholders. Determine ongoing assessments to measure the quality of our curriculum, as well as student engagement. Organization Building – Develop new formats, delivery methods and processes for curriculum development. ABOUT YOU Teaching experience (university, classroom, in-company facilitation) strongly preferred 3+ years in curriculum design, instructional design and/or L&D Knowledge of instructional paradigms for active learning pedagogy and high impact teaching practices High conscientiousness and follow through – organized, detail-oriented and rigorous Strong work ethic and discipline – ready to both work smart and hard Clear communicator, particularly in writing Flexible and highly adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment Bonus points if you have subject-matter expertise on leadership development topics, practical experience in the technology sector, familiarity with iterative design thinking methodologies and/or executive coaching experience
