Director, Finance Position Description: The Director, Finance will be responsible for accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial planning for Strive Health. This person will also be responsible for implementing processes & tools around the finance & accounting functions, and for building out a finance & accounting team as needed. This person should be ready and willing to roll up his/her sleeves to ensure that Strive is prepared for rapid growth on all levels. S/he should be nimble and comfortable in an ambiguous start up environment and must possess the gravitas necessary to interface with board members, investors, and other external stakeholders. Responsibilities: Own the entire FP&A function, from budgeting & reporting to financial planning & strategic finance initiatives Champion Strive’s accounting function, including setting process in place for accurate and timely reporting, drive consistent month-end close process and build support functions such as AP, AR & treasury/cash management. Design & implement scalable infrastructure for tracking financial activity at both the corporate and market level. Collaborate with executive team on intermediate and long-term growth strategy Prepare and present financials at quarterly board meetings Create reporting tools and process to consistently track financial performance Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement; CPA preferred but not required 7-10 years finance experience in the healthcare services industry Working knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes & procedures and ability to flex between accounting & FP&A; familiarity with QuickBooks.
