This is an operational HR generalist role in a fast-paced and diverse work environment. You will be part of a small, service focussed HR team and report into an experienced, supportive people leader who is keen to coach and develop you in the role. You will be responsible for HR administration activities across the employee lifecycle, recruiting talent for the Road Freight business, supporting payroll, assist with ER issues and HR projects. This is a great step up opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator or Coordinator looking to develop their skills in the advisory space and progress their career. What are we looking for? A true team player, who is relatable and great at building relationships at all levels of the organisation. You must be proactive, enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done, and have a positive attitude. Your communication skills, verbal and written, must be excellent and your ability to pick up new information and systems quickly will be highly regarded. You will have a good understanding of New Zealand employment law and HR best practices. Experience in payroll and recruiting software is also advantageous.
