It wasn’t too long ago back in 2015 when we were sitting in a living room in Berlin-Mitte, working on our first Facebook videos for German media brands like Pro7, Bunte or Cosmopolitan. Fast forward one year later, and we were one of the three biggest Facebook video publishers on the planet producing more than 1,000 videos per month and more than 10 billion video views! The marketing magazine, W&V, now calls us the “shooting star of the marketing scene”, we are one of the few global top-tier agency partners of Facebook and we work with some of the largest brands in the US and Europe. To break it down, we’re currently building a pretty interesting company that sits somewhere in between performance marketing and brand building, all the while challenging the traditional advertising agency models. Tasks Take ownership of all company finance and controlling functions Create financial models for new business models, and work closely with our management to evaluate new business opportunities Develop weekly and monthly analysis and reports for management and shareholders Supervise the work of our accountant Optimize cash flow by implementing smart payables/receivables management policies Develop the function with full responsibility for all necessary processes and systems Profile You have 2+ years of experience working in a Finance-related role in a startup, VC or company builder Excel is your best friend and you have excellent analytical skills You are very ambitious & very nice at the same time You enjoy working in an environment of rapid change & you like a direct and honest communication style You are truly a caring person You are hands-on and a team player You are fluent in English and German we offer We are one of the few profitable startups where you can fully focus on building a sustainable company for the long-term instead of short-term survival We are a company in absolute growth mode with extremely high ambitions where you can navigate through this exciting time We focus on the global market with a strong focus on the US We truly believe in developing young people and prefer to fill senior roles internally, rather than hiring externally Our team feels more like family than colleagues where diversity is embraced and celebrated every day
