Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement Team Member Job Functions for this Entry Level Position Focus on continuous improvement to eliminate short and long-term problems. Lead by example in an effort to influence, build commitment and understanding of lean principles (i.e. Six Sigma, Kaizen process) to accomplish the improvement goals for the organization. Support constructive changes. Assist in the development of the process model/maps. Specify the appropriate lean process improvement methodologies and tools. Work with team leaders to plan and lead improvement projects. Provide guidance to sustain improvement changes. Communicate lessons learned and best practices from improvement projects Develop and maintain clear, accurate, simplified, standardized work instructions. Perform training as needed. Maintain and update Engineering Process Documentation and Records as required. Support engineering by providing technical assistance and solutions when problems are encountered in manufacturing. Update and Produce work instructions utilizing 3D Solid Models. Required Skills Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel. Self-starter able to work with minimal support Excellent organization and documentation skills Preferred Skills A3 problem solving training CAD or drafting experience/familiarity
